FAQ
Is this an Ornot only Event?
Not at all! This event is open to everyone, including every brand and crew. You are more than welcome to create your own route on your own time. We have times when you can find us on the mountain, and we’ll post when other groups have rides going on.
Do I have to do all 5 to participate? Is it all or nothing?
1x or 5x, it all counts! Give it a try as many times as you can, but there’s no requirement to do all 5 days. But! The more summits, the more opportunities for prizes.
How do I punch the card?
We will have hole punches tied to some handrailings at the SUMMIT of West Peak. Follow @ornotbike to see the exact location of the hole punchers. You can get a Punch Card at Ornot (59 Clement St.) or the kick-off ride at 7:00 am in Mill Valley.
Where is the top of West Peak?
All the routes posted to this page finish at West Peak, and you can follow @ornotbike on Instagram to see the spot. Google Habitat Restoration: MT. Tamalpais West Peak Gate Glory. Go through and climb up to the ruins to find the top.
Can I do the same route every day?
If you wish, you can. We also have some different route options below to inspire you. Road, dirt - it really doesn't matter, as long as it's under your own power.
What counts as an ascent?
We ask everyone to start below 200 ft—say from SF, Mill Valley, Fairfax, Ross, or Stinson—so the full climb is part of the experience. It's a challenge after all.
