Our Micro Grid Trail Shirt may be new, but the benefits of Micro Grid fabric are not. We pioneered a Micro Grid Jersey way back in 2020, and we’ve been sampling the fabric across various products ever since. The new Trail Shirt may just be our favorite use for the fabric yet. What makes it so special? It’s extremely lightweight, about the same as a summer cycling jersey, yet acts as an insulating layer when paired with a wind shell. It’s the best answer to Tam’s many microclimates.

That Tam Week feeling! View our limited Tam Week capsule here. The collection was developed by our friend and long-time collaborator, Chris McNally.

Bonus feature: A concealed rear pocket for snacks, keys, or whatever else you’d rather not juggle.

Made in the USA, this midweight layer is proof that performance and comfort can keep pace on and off the bike.

Special projects

One of the most sustainable things we can do? Use what already exists. That’s the concept behind Special Projects—limited-run garments made from premium deadstock fabrics, cut and sewn in California. When they're gone, they're gone.

Made in USA

Everything in our Special Projects Collection is made in California. Working closely with our sewing partners helps us maintain quality, move quickly, and build real relationships with the people who bring these pieces to life.

Deadstock Fabric

Deadstock is fabric that was overproduced, abandoned, or never made it to the cutting table. Instead of letting it sit in a warehouse, we turn it into something new. The catch? We only get one shot.

Very Limited

Deadstock, by definition, is limited. We may love a color or texture, but when the fabric is gone, it's gone. Each piece is an invitation to create something unique, and your chance to own a small part of history, Ornot.

Ornot + Polartec

Great minds think alike—and by great minds, we mean anyone who sees the potential in leftover fabric. Polartec has been pioneering recycled textiles for years, which makes them a natural fit for our Special Projects. Whether it’s upcycling deadstock or reinventing performance fabrics, we’re both on a mission to make more out of what’s already here. As our partnership grows, so does our lineup of smarter, more responsible gear. Ride in it, geek out over it, or both.
