Super thermal FAQ
What temperature range are these for?
Best from the upper 20s to low 30s °F. They're also great at keeping you warm when it is wet and the chill cuts deep. We cap the range all the way up at 52 °F because if it is 52 and raining, these are the tights we reach for.
What should I wear on top?
Layers! Start with a merino base layer, add a thermal jersey, then a Magic Shell jacket. Need insurance? Grab an Alpha Vest. Wear it outside if you are warm, or under the jacket if you get cold. Do not forget a neck warmer.
What size should i pick?
Go with your usual Ornot bib size. These fit like our thermal tights and run just slightly larger than our cargo bib shorts to accommodate for different fabric properties.
Are they windproof and water-resistant?
Yes. The front panels use a laminated wind-blocking membrane with a C0 DWR finish. The membrane does the heavy lifting against wind and spray. The DWR helps water bead and shed. 310gms.
