Tam Week Photo Dump
It's already been one month since Tam Week. Over 300 of you rode all the bikes through the many microclimates, and a few of you even spent the night. That's what Tam Week is all about: a celebration of riding bikes on Tam in whatever way you most enjoy.
We've been riding that feeling all month. Photography from our buddy, Guru, as well as a few words from the team are below
"I would never ride up Tam five days in a row if it wasn't for Tam Week. My favorite moments are the flybys, climbing up or coming down. And there's this moment each day where you climb out of the fog into the sun and look out over the clouds like you're on an airplane. One day at the top, a guy sprinted up, punched his card, and took off. He must have been late for something. Still got his ascent in."
Matt, Chief Bike Rider
"As a professional athlete, I average four or five days a week on the mountain, so it was a treat to share the experience with everyone else. I spent about 15 hours on the summit, driving the Ornot Van to support rides and hear people's stories. My favorite part of the week: knowing that if you see someone climbing Tam, there's a good chance they're doing exactly what you're doing. That, and hearing "I've never been here before" as we looked out over the inversion, back at SF."
Ben, CS/CX
"My favorite part about Tam Week is that there is no right or wrong way to do it. You can do it 1 time or 5 times, road or dirt, fast or slow, alone or in a group, early in the morning or late at night. Whether you've done it 5 times on 5 bikes on 5 routes or it's been your first time ever riding up Tam, I love to hear everyone's stories all the same. And then we have a party, celebrating Mt. Tam and all of us and our community."
Fabian, Showroom Mgr.

We were happy to host a shreddy crew from Southern California who made the trip up the coast for Tam Week, too. Check out their video:
