Alpha™ with Wool is a brand-new development from Polartec®, and we’re one of the first to work with it.
Made in the USA, this pullover takes the proven performance of Polartec® Alpha™ in a new direction, blending merino wool fibers into the lofted construction. Wool adds natural temperature regulation and moisture management, and makes this pullover so soft you’ll never want to take it off (ask us how we know). Purpose-built for stop-and-go efforts, like bike riding, where you need to dump heat quickly, the Alpha Wool Pullover merges the thermoregulation properties of wool with the lightweight performance of Alpha™ Direct.
Originally adopted by thru-hikers, Alpha™ Direct is so lightweight it almost feels like magic. This next-gen version, made with Polartec® Alpha™ with Wool, is the coziest ever. Wear it on your bike, Ornot.
Technical fabrics work hard, but they appreciate a little care in return. Follow the golden rule: treat it as you’d like to be treated. Wash gently and hang to dry to keep it performing its best for years to come.
