Introducing:

SPECIAL PROJECTS

One of the most sustainable things we can do? Use what already exists. That’s the concept behind Special Projects—limited-run garments made from premium deadstock fabrics, cut and sewn in California. When they're gone, they're gone.

Some of our most beloved pieces (remember that decadent merino? Or the original microgrid?) were born this way. It’s a sustainability win, a creative constraint, and a chance to make something out of something forgotten.

DEADSTOCK FABRIC

Deadstock—textiles that were overproduced, abandoned, or just never made it to the cutting table. Sometimes, a color runs off-spec, and that fabric becomes “deadstock.” Instead of letting it sit in a warehouse (or worse, a landfill), we turn it into something new. The catch? We only get one shot. One opportunity.

Deadstock isn’t just leftover fabric—it’s an invitation to make something unforgettable. That’s why we collaborate with Polartec®, the pioneers who redefined performance textiles and never stopped innovating.

IN PARTNERSHIP

ORNOT x POLARTEC

Great minds think alike—and by great minds, we mean anyone who sees the potential in leftover fabric. Polartec has been pioneering recycled textiles for years, which makes them a natural fit for our Special Projects. Whether it’s upcycling deadstock or reinventing performance fabrics, we’re both on a mission to make more out of what’s already here.

As our partnership grows, so does our lineup of smarter, more responsible gear. Ride in it, geek out over it, or both.

Deadstock’s great because we don't mill new fabric and we start with what already exists. We let the fabric lead—if it feels like it could make a rad ____, we dive into the design from there.

Deadstock is a design puzzle—only you start at the end and work your way backwards.

Our Gravel Sweater is an everyday essential built with three of our favorite things: a gridded fleecy interior, Merino Wool, and, of course, deadstock fabric.
