lightweight vest
Designed alongside the new Park Jerseys, the Lightweight Wind Vest packs into its own pocket and disappears when you don't need it. Developed with ultralight recycled ripstop and an open-knit back panel, it's the layer you'll wish you had.
FAQ
What is 'race fit'?
Race fit means close to the skin, intentionally snug, with minimal excess fabric. It's designed to reduce drag when you're in an aggressive riding position, and to move with you rather than bunch or shift during effort. It's not uncomfortable, but it will feel fitted, especially if you're used to a more relaxed cut.
How does the Park Jersey fit?
The Park Jersey is the most fitted jersey we make. It runs true to size but sits close to the body. If you're between sizes or prefer a little more room, size up. It's designed to feel best in a road cycling position: once you're on the bike, everything settles where it should. If you're unsure, our Jersey Comparison Guide shows how it compares to the rest of the lineup.
What makes the fabric recycled?
Every component of the Park Jersey is constructed from post-consumer recycled materials. It starts as something that already existed rather than requiring new raw materials to produce. The performance characteristics are identical to virgin fabric.
Is the print going to crack or fade?
No. The print is applied through a sublimation process, which means the ink is embedded into the fabric rather than sitting on top of it. It won't crack, peel, or fade with regular washing and use. Wash cold, turn inside out, skip the dryer, and it'll look the same in year three as it does on day one.
What's the OEKO-TEX certification?
OEKO-TEX Standard 100 is an independent certification that tests textile products for harmful substances. Things like pesticides, heavy metals, and other chemicals that shouldn't be in contact with skin. Every component has to pass, not just the outer fabric. For a jersey you're wearing for hours at a time, that's worth knowing.
