Perfect weight and fit for leg warmers. I bought a size MD and I am 5'10" 155lbs. They do have a very compressive fit and the stretch of the fabric really makes them comfortable.
Perfect weight for chilly weather: I used it between 6-14C. The grippers on the outside are a game changer. I don’t shave my legs and other leg warmers (Rapha, Castelli) pull on the skin/hair and can be an annoyance while riding. With these I don’t even notice I am wearing them, they are amazing. Highly recommended over anything else available
These leg warmers worked well with normal and 3/4 length bibs (Ornot and other brands). They have been my key to getting out for early morning rides in springtime Vermont where temperatures start in the 20s. I've had no issues with my legs being cold. The warmers stay in place and the zipper on the bottom integrates well with a variety of shoe covers. I love the feel of the inside, and was happy that my purchase shipped in sustainable / compostable packaging, an added bonus!
Pros: Very warm, perfect with my normal bibs in late winter/spring riding in the PNW. Good length in the small for my 5'4" frame. Construction seems solid and materials feel great against the skin. They stay up well under bibs. Super nice to be able to take them on/off throughout a ride as the weather changes and stash them in my handlebar bag. Cons: The dreaded sausage leg. My skinnier male partner has no issues with his, but as a woman with more fat on my thighs they do dig into my leg and are less than flattering under my bibs, and feel weird off the bike. Had to size up from an XS to S to try to minimize this but the issue still persists, although I don't notice it while I'm biking. All in all, would still recommend for the layering versatility, warmth, and quality.
