Womens Micro Climate Jacket - Morocco

  • This is not a wind jacket! (it's so much more)

Our Micro Climate Jacket features an extremely durable, lightweight fabric custom milled especially for us. This jacket breathes like nothing we've ever used. Ever read about the $500 Olympic swimsuits? Yeah, fabric like that... We designed a lofted pattern to insulate at strategic points keeping you warm and dry. Speaking of dry, the fabric has a patented treatment applied permanently to each fiber strand which resists moisture, making the jacket water-resistant and quick to dry without a coating that could wash off. Did we mention stretch? This jacket stretches, making it comfortable while moving with you on the bike.

San Francisco is known for its microclimates and that was our inspiration for the ultimate take-along jacket. When you're cold, put it on and when it warms up, stuff it in its rear pocket and continue on. You could wear it all day, Ornot. Curious about the difference between our Magic Shell and Micro Climate Jackets? Check out our comparison here.

    1. Reversible rear pocket doubles as a stash bag.
    2. Custom lightweight fabric is durable with abundant 4 way stretch and consistent recovery.
    3. Lofted insulation in key areas (chest, shoulders, front of arms).
    4. Water-resistant and quick-drying due to patented thread treatment that won't wash off.
    5. Soft interior insulation feels good directly against skin.
    6. 155 grams (size small) - Temp range ; 40 - 67 degrees.
    7. Sewn by hand in California.
  • Size NoteThe Micro Climate Jacket is designed to be fitted and the fabric stretches quite a bit. If you prefer a slightly more relaxed or roomy fit, we suggest moving up one size. If you have questions about sizing send us an email.

The Best!

I bought the jacket for my wife. Fit and finish are excellent and it keeps her warm on the trail. Ornot service is second to none.

nice but tight fit overall for a jacket

Really love it but it is too small to comfortably fit over another jersey. Wish I had returned it for a m. silly me. but it is awesome, altho also a bit short. Maybe it is just too tight overall, esp the arms.

Still figuring it out

I really want to love this jacket. The color is beautiful, quality is great, and fit is good. I’m 5’4 130lbs and the small fits great, except the sleeves which are a bit tight if I’m layering anything under them. And it’s definitely not warm enough to wear without another long sleeve layer underneath with the temp in the 40s. It’s very thin, and doesn’t actually block wind very well due to how breathable it is. I’m still trying to figure out the ideal temperature range for this jacket but I think it’s pretty narrow, probably about 50-60F for me, with arm warmers as well.

nearly perfect fit

I love this jacket and look forward to when I need to throw it on for an extra layer. I have used it 3-4 rides where temps are in the 40s or low 50s. I've put it on over a jersey and with arm warmers underneath, usually for a descent. I also love the color, which I have dubbed banana slug yellow. It is not a garish yellow at all; the yellow is tempered with little gray arrows that give it visual texture and take off the edge. My only critique is that it feels a little short on me in the front, and I catch myself pulling it down. This could just be my build or the fact that I don't wear bibs and am afraid it will ride up above my chamois top (which is has not!). But my instinct wants it to be just a little longer. I am 5'6" with climber shoulders, 125 lbs, not curvy. I originally ordered an XS and the shoulders were too tight (among other things). Small is almost perfect save for wishing for a little more length. I am probably on the cusp of needing a medium.
