They work: they keep the cold out. I wasn't sure about the inside-out design, but it's ok. I did have some trouble at first with the leg warmers slipping down. But I found that was my problem - not the inside-out design. I just had to pull them up further and they stayed up fine. Bottom line: my legs were warm in the cold - just like I wanted.
Generally I like these leg warmers. I have Assos, Velocio and Pearl Izumi in the mix to compare them to. I wish they were an inch or so longer. I am about 6'2", 180lbs and usually use a Large in leg warmers. The grippers work well. The fabric seems soft and conforming. Workmanship is high quality. My main criteria for most cycling clothing is that I don't think about it while I'm using it, it just works. These tick that box.
These leg warmers are approximately named. The sticky stuff works good at both the socks and thighs. Snug but not too tight. I am 76” and hover between 195-205 lbs, so kind of between sizes listed. Use an XL pair with my L Ornot bibs and the fit is good.
I love these leg warmers. Specifically the fleece lining and silicone gripper on the outside that sticks to the bib shorts and not ones legs. Was warm in 35-40F degrees with the thermal bibs.
