Took the long sleeve on a 5 day bikepacking trip. In cool weather it helped keep me warm at night. On days when the temps allowed me to take off the jacket, it shielded from sun and breathed well enough to keep feeling fresh. Alone, perfect for Bay Area temps, up to the high 70s. With a base layer or jacket, good down to the 40s. And I like the color.
I’m a heavy sweat person and always searching for a perfect jersey that wicks moisture. Living in the Bay Area a ride can have 50-90 degrees. The material is not itchy, doesn’t wool sop, and doesn’t stink after missing a post ride soak, washing is simple, hang dry, the color is bike safe but not too bright for everyday wear.
I've worn this on a handful of rides (would love to see Ornot bibs w/ rear pockets large enough for vest + phone! to complement) and for some longer air travel. It's got a great fit, wicks nicely and doesn't smell like some synthetics I'll wear in the same situations. Might need to add another color because it's just killer everyday wear.
Never felt too cold or too hot. Movement was easy and unrestricted. Fit was dead on. Coyote color is utterly tasteful. My only wish is that it had a drop hem, at least in the back. I was uncertain of the view I may have been giving...ahem.
