Our merino cap should be a staple in every cyclist’s wardrobe where the winters get cold. Roadies, gravel junkies, and mtb'ers can all revel in its lightweight, comfort, and versatility.
It made sense to team up with our friends at Giro (65 miles south door-to-door) to put together an Ornot iteration of this classic cap. It's thin enough to fit under a helmet, has updated construction that reduces bunching and a shortened brim for improved upper peripheral vision while still maintaining its ability to block sun, rain, sleet, hail, etc. Bonus ear flaps for added warmth.

Never a fan of being cold, in the winter it’s always been cycling caps under the helmet, with a merino gaiter. My ears are always left exposed. I just got this hat as a Christmas present. Rode 30 miles I. Sacramento this afternoon. 50-55 degrees today. This hat did awesome. A little warm at times but that made me confident that this hat has potential at cooler temps. My ears were happy, never cold. The cap breathes well. Not sweaty from 2 hours of riding. Didn’t bunch under the helmet and never felt uncomfortable. 10/10 Would recommend!
The best cool/cold weather hat I have ever owned. I have worn it in the 40's to 55's and was comfortable at both ends. Probably could go a good bit cooler. Will buy another if I lose this one or can get it on sale. Whichever comes first.
only good ones, we promise...
