Checking out the new Slim Chance.

Checking out the new Slim Chance.
You see a lot of things at Sea Otter, but only a couple that really resonate with you. We have always been fans of Fat Chance and we are super excited to see their new road frame, the Slim Chance, hanging out at the Mavic booth. Even better, they brought along an original edition Slim Chance to give a little perspective to anyone looking at the new design. We took the opportunity to photograph the two beautiful bikes and talk to the guys a bit about their plans for the new frame.
As you might imagine, the two bikes have some pretty big differences. We love the componentry and lines of the old Slim Chance, while the beefy head tube and modern geometry are just as pleasing to the eye. The colors are what really got us going though. Nothing like your bike matching your socks, or not. There's talk of a segmented fork coming in a few weeks, and it's our opinion that will bring everything full-circle, as opposed to the carbon one you see here.
We love what these guys are doing with their new line of bikes, and we are excited they are keeping everything 'made, designed, welded & painted in the USA in collaboration with Stinner Frameworks'. Be sure to check them out for yourself HERE
